Subusers & Access Management

Subusers allow you to give team members or clients access to your Infatica account without sharing the master account credentials.

The master account owner controls account permissions, access to proxy resources, and which type of proxy plans a subuser can use.

Invite a Subuser​

  1. Log in to the Infatica dashboard using the master account.
  2. Go to User Management.
  3. Enter the user's email address.
  4. Select:
    • All Permissions — grant all available account permissions.
    • Choose Permissions — select only the permissions the user needs.
  5. Click Send Invite.

If the invited email already belongs to an existing user account, the user can access your account using their existing credentials. Otherwise, they can create a new account.

Account Permissions​

When using Choose Permissions, you can control what the subuser is allowed to do in the account.

For proxy users, the most relevant permissions are:

  • View Products & Services — allows access to products, services.
  • Place New Orders/Upgrades/Cancellations — allows the subuser to purchase and manage plans.
  • View & Pay Invoices — allows access to invoices and payments, if required.
  • View & Open Support Tickets — allows access to support tickets, if required.

Other account permissions can be enabled depending on the user's role.

Proxy List Access​

The master account owner can grant a subuser access to specific existing Proxy Lists.

Only assigned Proxy Lists are visible and available to that subuser.

Proxy Lists that are not assigned remain hidden.

The master account owner can also share an existing Proxy List with another subuser by granting access to that list in User Management.

Proxy Plan Permissions​

Proxy permissions determine how new proxy plans purchased by the subuser are configured.

Create Proxy Lists​

The Create Proxy Lists permission allows the subuser to purchase proxy plans that use generated Proxy Lists.

For these plans:

  • Proxy Lists can be created and used.
  • A No-List login is not created.
  • The plan cannot be used with the API Tool through a No-List login.

Create No-Lists​

The Create No-Lists permission allows the subuser to purchase proxy plans configured for use with the Infatica API Tool.

For these plans:

  • A No-List login is automatically created.
  • The No-List login is used as the proxy login for the API Tool.
No-List login

A No-List login is a proxy login used to work with proxies through the Infatica API Tool. It is not an exclusion list or block list.

Resource and Statistics Access​

Subusers see only the proxy resources assigned to them.

Usage and traffic statistics are limited to the products and proxy resources available to the subuser.

The master account owner retains access to resources under the account.
